"How have they made it happen? Relatively low or no weight to work experience in the shortlisting/final admission stage" I don't understand, how does giving no marks for work-ex promote gender diversity?

Women still quit higher education/the labour force sooner than men in India. If you want higher enrolment of women, you need to give lesser preference to experience.
